as a gift to everyone, ann and dabney took the whole family to see avenue q. they hadn't seen that much puppet sex since team america. they cringed a little bit during the raunchier scenes, but were relieved to see members of the older generation laughing.

after they exited the show and stepped onto the strip, they stumbled upon this sign. the feature entertainer just happens to be from ann's hometown in missouri.
even though dabney used to travel to las vegas for work, and has been to sin city on a number of occasions, she had never ever sat down at a table to gamble, instead opting for slot machines and video poker. so when they stumbled upon $3 minimums at arizona charlie's, it was time to play blackjack. little did ann know, she created a monster. if only beginner's luck came into play...
other than the blackjack table, they spent more than a few hours in the bingo hall. not as glamourous as throwing dice down the craps table, but hell it's cheap and you get to use daubers.
if daubers are too messy for you, you can use an automated machine. very gadgety... robo-dad chose this route. maybe he was onto something, he came out $350 ahead.
