i sleep in them.
i do housework in them.
i've even been known to play poker in them.
what i did for the muumuu* - i am doing for the chukka. i am bringing 'em back, baby!
my sister hates them. dabney thinks she knows what i am trying to do, but i can tell by the look in her eye - she still thinks they look like orthopedic shoes. (who's feet were dry in the chicago monsoons while hers were waterlogged in vans, hmm?)

*while i have been wearing muumuus for years and years, i really oughta give credit to where credit is due. my mom been wearing them as long as i can remember. i just brought 'em to a new generation.
