tivo welcomed ann and dabney home from their trip to manila and hong kong with an episode of 60 minutes featuring a story on medical tourism. an increasing number of americans are traveling abroad in search of cheaper medical care.

Where'd you get the whitening down and how much was it? I'm interested.
we got it done in manila at ann's family's dentist, although we're not sure of her name. it was roughly 10,000 pesos, which translates into about $200. dab is totally happy with the result.
if you go, pack some sensodyne in your suitcase. we wound up wandering the streets late at night looking for a 24-hour pharmacy that sold tubes of the toothpaste.
you also won't be able to eat any dark foods (soy sauce, bbq) for a couple of days, so splurge on good filipino food beforehand.
