it's probably fair to say that we're still in a "getting-to-know-you" phase with the new pooch.
so far, we've discovered:
friday loves toys. so far, her collection has grown to four. "bobo," the one featured above, is by far her favorite.
friday is very curious but is more an observer from afar. i always get the feeling i am being watched when i am in the kitchen cooking or cleaning. sure enough, i am!
friday loves to lounge. we're using the crate method with her and so far, she just loves her little puppy condo.
friday will go on walks but only begrudgingly. cars scare the bejesus out of her. she'll stop dead in her tracks each time one goes by. at night, the sight of their headlights even makes her pause.
even though friday hates cars, she doesn't mind vacuum cleaners. you'd think that a big loud household appliance would intimidate her. but just one sniff, and all was fine.
besides making her cute as hell, all that extra skin on her face makes her sound like a little piggy when she sleeps.
thanks to all for the well wishes. we could use them as we figure out this training stuff. :)

STOP THE ADORABLENESS! I can't take it!
She is so cute now, but I know she will be gorgeous as a grown-up, like the bloodhound in 'Best in Show.'
It's very good that she's not afraid of the vacuum--knowing Annie's love of keeping things clean ;)
